You want to be constantly assessing the edges that will help you separate the elements, helping you better identify the detail and keep your proportions accurate, along with the depth and dimension that will make this subject.
So, take your time and watch him come forward as you also push some things back into the shadows. Bring him alive so to speak and have fun expressing this iconic character.
Take the opportunity to assess your drawing and get a feel for how it is communicating and what you think needs to be done to better express him. Look for the overall balance and how effective your highlights are working to show you the contour and dimension of his facial features.
Don’t forget to enjoy the process and Have fun. - Darrel :):):)
